“We have been informed that a van has run over worshippers as they left #FinsburyPark Mosque. Our prayers are with the victims,” the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) tweeted.
British Prime Minister Theresa May condemned this “terrible incident.”
“All my thoughts are with those who have been injured, their loved ones, and the emergency services on the scene,” May said in an emailed statement.
There were several terror attacks in United Kingdom during the last two months that claimed the lives of many innocent people.
The Islamic State terror organization claimed responsibility for some of these attacks.
