Egypt's Minister looks for more investments in Suez Canal city

Port Said (Egypt) - Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr discussed Saturday with Port Said Governor Adel Ghadban increasing investments in the Suez Canal city.
Investments in Port Said have amounted to EGP 1.6 billion over the past eight months and secured up to 6,000 job opportunities, the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation said in a statement on Saturday.
The two officials have watched a design of the city's industrial drainage project that is being implemented in an area of 60,000 square meters and aims to process 25,000 meters of wastes.

Meanwhile, the minister paid a visit to SE Wiring Systems Egypt factory, which produces car electrical braces with total investments of 500 million dollars.
SE Wiring Systems Egypt further exports its products to France, the UK and Germany, said the statement.
Meanwhile, Nasr and Ghadban visited Pyramids factory, the first of its kind in Egypt to produces lorry tyres, with investments totaling EGP 350 million, it added.
