El-Sisi: Stability and security key factors to restore tourism

Cairo - Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that the government has established large-scale road networks linking the cities of Egypt's governorate of New Valley. He added that there are four hundred fedans [land unit measurement] in the governorate belonging to the Egyptian Countryside Company.

He added, during a conference held in the governorate on Wednesday, that the projects carried out by the government aim to increase the investments in the governorate, and to remove the encroachment of state lands, stressing that this objective is considered one of the major priorities of the government.

During his speech, the president stressed the need for keeping security and stability in the country during the current period to restore tourism. He said, "The visitors coming to the country need to feel safe and this is the role of the Egyptian authorities and citizens." 

He called upon Egyptian citizens to help the authorities by informing them on any information about terrorist groups or their members, and that this is a citizen's role to in keeping the country safe and secure, especially during the coming period.
