Abu Dhabi praises Egypt's role in achieving regional stability

Cairo - President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held talks, on Wednesday, with Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who welcomed El-Sisi and asserted that Egypt was of a special status for the UAE and its people, Middle East News Agency reported.
The Abu Dhabi crown prince stressed his country's continuous support for Egypt on all levels in order to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian people for stability and development, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said following the talks.
The UAE leader reaffirmed that Egypt's stability was key for the whole region thanks to Cairo's strategic and historical importance in the Arab world.
He voiced hope that President El-Sisi's visit to the UAE would promote cooperation between the two countries and usher in new horizons to meet the aspirations of their peoples.
Abu Dhabi praises
The visit shows the strength of the bilateral relations and embodies keenness of both countries' leaderships on contact and coordination to serve their interests.
The Abu Dhabi crown prince hailed Egypt's efforts to bring about stability in the region and reach a solution for its crises in addition to its efforts to combat terrorism and extremism which target the security and stability of Egypt and the entire region.
He also stressed the Egyptian people's ability to combat terrorist acts and schemes.
The talks between El- Sisi and the Abu Dhabi crown prince tackled developments in the region including the crises in Syria, Yemen, and Libya, in addition to challenges facing the Arab world and the interference of various foreign powers that jolt the security and stability of the Arab countries.
